4.1 Poker games will be held at times stated by the organisers.
4.2 You are required to pay rental fees for your seat in advance.
4.3 You may only seat yourself at a table after obtaining permission to do so.
4.4 Game play will involve official poker chips only. No cash play is permitted. Cash can be exchanged for chips before the game.
4.5 Should you wish to leave the table at any point during a game, you are strongly advised to remove your chips from the table before doing so. All chips removed must be returned to the table when you resume play.
4.6 Should you return to the table within sixty minutes of leaving it, the required buy-in will be the same as the amount of chips you removed from the table previously.
4.7 If you leave the table without removing your chips, those chips will be removed by the organisers should you be absent for thirty minutes or more.
4.8 To participate in a game you must make a full buy-in as stated by the game organisers unless you are being transferred by the organisers from one game to another of the same type. Transferring to another game by your own volition will require you to make a full buy-in at the new game.
4.9 Each hand must be played by a single individual.
4.10 No individual may play the chips of another player on their behalf. Nor may a player use his own chips to assist another player.
4.11 Play is to continue until the end of a hand. Under no circumstance can players agree to split a pot between them.
4.12 The table limits can only be changed with permission from the organisers. Should two or more players object then such permission will not be granted.
4.13 Playing cards must be kept on the table at all times and must never be totally obscured by the hands or otherwise.
4.14 Chip stacks must be clearly visible to opponents, and no attempt to obstruct such a view is permitted.
4.15 A deck of cards may only be replaced when it has been played at least once around the table, and only then with the permission of the organisers. The only exception to this rule is when there is a fault with the cards themselves.
4.16 Players may only look at the cards that have been dealt to them personally, or which are already face-up on the table. Cards which are undealt or discarded by the dealer or other players are out of bounds.
4.17 The only language to be spoken at the table is English. This is to prevent other languages being used to facilitate any form of cheating.
4.18 The attention of players must be on the game whilst seated at the table. Non-poker activities which could hold potentially up play are not permitted.
